The trade fair awards ceremony has never been for media houses but for exhibitors – Muma

Ongwediva Town Council’s Corporate Communications Manager Jackson Muma says that the Ongwediva annual trade fair award ceremony has, since the beginning of the trade fair the award ceremony been for exhibitors. But this year, they decided to honour three media houses that significantly contributed to the trade fair.
He noted that the three media houses were New Era, NAMPA and NBC.
He added that it was not their intention to make other media houses feel left out and will ensure that they would be invited to such occasions in the future.
This comes as on Wednesday a number of journalists from the northern part of the country complained about being banned from entering the trade fair award ceremony.
