As Namibia seeks to leverage the hidden potential from the Agricultural sector, one major aspect affiliated to agriculture is seeds, and any trade related to genetically modified products in it. The National Commission on Research, Science & Technology is the government agency in charge with some regulations on the GMO product trade. However, there have been developments around the updating of the laws and acts that regulate GMO products and service.
