A. The Financial Intelligence Centre calls on non profit organisations to comply with financial intelligence act as they are open to financial crimes. In a public notice issued today, the FIC said NPOs are vulnerable to terrorism financing and money laundering.
B. Walvis Bay local authority candidate Andemale Shikongo maintains that he resigned before he was discharged from the Namibian Defence Force. Shilumbu said Shikongo was discharged because he violated the NDF.
C. The Nkurenkuru town council’ books had an unexplained N$ 26 million balance in their books. According to the auditor general’s report on the town council’s accounts, there was a difference of 26 million 143 thousand 275 namibian dollars in their financial books in 2018.
