Landless people’s movement party, Henny Seibeb, raised the issue of the ongoing drought in the Kunene region in parliament. Seibeb indicated that while the rest of the country has seen record rainfall figures, the Kunene region has not seen any healthy rains for extended periods.
- The world over, vaccines programs have kicked off with the goal of fighting the further spread of the covid-19. Dr Eric Dziuban, from the CDC here in Windhoek, talks to Eagle FM about the situation in terms of the occurrence of fake vaccines that were discovered in South Africa and China; vaccines roll outs and suitable candidate vaccines for our country; second and third waves of infection; and; what happened to alternative medication candidates.
- Elma Dienda, Popular Democratic Movement party member, raised a motion in parliament about the eligibility of public services employees who opt to compete in elections, and subsequently are elected to parliament.
