1.The Landless people’s movement party had a meeting with the speaker of parliament. 13 members were present at the meeting between the two parties. Dominga Ndala, secretary of the youth command element, said that there were a handful of core issues and grievances that the LPM wanted to raise with the speaker and the conduct of the video recording services provided to the national assembly.
2.The Namibian Premier League’s application to establish their own independent organisation alongside the Namibia Football Association. Kelvin Chiringa speaks to Olsen Kahiriri about what this looks like.
3.Minimum wage comment from Herbert Jauch. Labour expert Herbert Jauch speaks on what the aim of a minimum wage mechanism is. This stems from the minimum wage commission discussion that was started by the Ministry of Labour to garner information about this topic.
4.PMTCT shortage confirmation from the Mohss executive director. A shortage of the Prevention Mother-To-Child Treatment program medication has been confirmed by the executive director of the ministry of health. Ben Nangombe indicated that this was planned as an alternative has been phased in.
