A. Police have confiscated huge quantities of alcohol over the past long weekend. 

The alcohol that has been confiscated includes bottes of Tassenberg and Monis Granadis. 

Regional Commander, Commissioner Joseph Shikongo said that the alcohol will be kept in the police stores and will then be auctioned off or destroyed.

B. Two truck drivers left quarantine facilities in the Khomas region over the long weekend. Commissioner Shikongo said the police were alerted by concerned community members about the truck drivers whereabouts. One trucker was found at his house in Goreangab and the other was visiting a girlfriend in Havana. Police informed the health ministry and due process was followed.
