In a bid to boost entrepreneurship and economic growth, the Office of the Oshikoto Regional Governor allocated N$100,000 during the last financial year to support start-ups and micro-businesses within the region.

The allocation was to assist micro businesses that have got potential to grow but have inadequate resources to expand.

Governor Penda Ya Ndakolo emphasised the importance of supporting micro-businesses, citing their potential to drive regional economic development, create employment opportunities, and alleviate poverty.
