The commencement of construction for the green iron HyIron Oshivela factory is scheduled for mid-April, following comprehensive geophysical studies and environmental impact assessments.

Initial deliveries of building materials and equipment are already underway, marking Namibia’s strategic move towards establishing itself as a leader in sustainable manufacturing.

Situated between Arandis and Walvis Bay in the Erongo region, the project’s location promises not only the construction of the factory but also the development of essential infrastructure and initiatives for scaling up operations, signalling a significant advancement in environmentally conscious industrial practices.
