Over 200 Namibian Police Force personnel in the Kunene Region were promoted to higher positions, in an effort to boost morale and promote work ethics in the Police Force.
At the ceremony held last week, NamPol’s Kuenene regional commander, James Nderura, said those promoted were recognised for their unwavering commitment, allegiance, and determination to the Police Force.
The ceremony, held in Opuwo, marked the first stage of promotions in the region, with 166 males and 40 females, constituting 19% of the promoted officers.
During the parade, 28 officers ascended from Constable to Sergeant Two, 86 officers rose from Sergeant Two to Sergeant One, 31 officers advanced from Warrant Officer Two to Warrant Officer One, and 61 officers were promoted from Warrant Officer Two to Warrant Officer One.
