The Environment Investment Fund (EIF) is planning to launch a concessional loan facility aimed at empowering youth entrepreneurs engaged in green initiatives, with plans to scale up to N$300 million by the 2024/2025 fiscal year.

EIF’s Chief Executive Officer, Benedict Libanda, revealed that in the previous fiscal year, the facility had set out to disburse N$72 million over 12 months.

This initiative follows the introduction of the EIF green concessional loan facility for youth entrepreneurs by Finance Minister Ipumbu Shiimi in his budget speech the prior year.
