1. The chief executive officer of Namibia Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NCCI) Charity Mwiya has stated that when Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) are faced with challenges they deserves special attention.
She was speaking at the ongoing online tax return training in collaboration with the Namibia Revenue Agency (NamRa) this morning at the NamPower Convention Centre in Windhoek.
A total of 50 SME participants are getting hands-on ITAS training.

2. PDM member of parliament Elna Dienda says that state-owned enterprises have a repetition of mismanagement. She made this remarks in the National Assembly while giving notice on questions she would ask finance and public enterprise minister Ipumbu Shiimi.

3. The Institute of Public Policy and Research (IPPR) called for independent investigations into procurement can be sensitive and embarrassing to government. This morning IPPR launched its procurement tracker bulletin which looks at how the procurement system can be given teeth to probe wrongdoing.

4. The Namibia Statistics Agency (NSA) has announced that the annual inflation rate increased by 7.2 percent in February 2023. NSA made this announcement in its consumer price index for the month of February. NSA said on a monthly basis, the inflation rate increased by 0.4 percent.

5. The Minister of Home Affairs, Immigration Safety and Security Albert Kawana launched the online application for passports and short-term employment permits up to six months.

6. The Ministry of Education, Arts and Culture received a donation of forfeited good from Namibia Revenue Agency-NamRA. The items include 945 caps, 191 soccer balls and 85 backpacks valued at approximately N$ 107 450.00.
