The Municipality of Keetmanshoop and the Mobile Telecommunication Company (MTC) on Friday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) which will see the two parties provide digital service solutions to the town’s populace.

The agreement was prompted by the municipality’s drive to adopt modern technology.

The municipality further aims to provide quality connectivity in its promise to seamlessly serve and deliver quality municipal services to the residents of the southern town.

As part of the agreement, the parties agree to jointly promote, among others, multiple payment methods for vending water/electricity via MTC’s digital channels.
