Cooperate Accountability

How can corporate strategists be held accountable for the decisions they make and the long-term direction they set for an organization? One important mechanism is the use of publicly launched Integrated Strategic Business Plans, which create transparency around an organization’s goals, priorities, and expected outcomes.

By sharing these plans publicly, stakeholders including employees, customers, investors, regulators, and the broader community gain visibility into the commitments being made and can measure progress against them over time. At the same time, these plans are reviewed internally to assess performance, identify gaps, manage risks, and ensure that strategic objectives remain aligned with changing business realities. This combination of public accountability and internal evaluation helps strengthen governance, encourages responsible leadership, and ensures that corporate strategists remain answerable for both the promises they make and the results they deliver. We will unpack this further on EMS.
