Forgiveness
Forgiveness is the intentional, voluntary process of releasing resentment, anger, and vengefulness toward someone who has caused harm, regardless of whether they deserve it. It is a personal, therapeutic act of letting go of grudges to gain peace of mind, improved health, and emotional freedom, distinct from condoning, forgetting, or reconciling with the offender.
