Basic Income Grant (BIG) fight

The debate around a Basic Income Grant (BIG) in Namibia is one of the country’s longest-running social policy discussions. More than 20 years after it was first proposed, Namibia still does not have a universal Basic Income Grant, but the idea continues to influence government social protection programs.
