FISHROT BAIL JUDGEMENT (01 APRIL 2022)
High Court Judge Shafimana Ueitele is delivering his verdict on the application for bail by six men accused in the fishrot fraud and corruption case.
The six accused are James Hatuikulipi, Sacky Shanghala, Mike Nghipunya, Pius Mwatelulo, Otneel Shuudifonya and Phillipus Mwapopi.
The State alleges that the six benefitted about N$317 million from dodgy fishing deals with an Icelandic fishing company, Samherji.
