Former Secretary-General of the Namibia Football Players Union, Olsen Kahiriri, now a sports analyst, has voiced concerns regarding the Namibia Football Association (NFA), alleging that it has used the country’s name to intimidate and mistreat national football team players.

Kahiriri’s remarks stem from the treatment of Brave Warriors players following their participation in the Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon) earlier this year.

Despite the team’s achievement of advancing to the knockout stage and earning N$15 million from the Confederation of African Football (CAF), Kahiriri contends that the NFA’s handling of these funds is unjust, calling for government intervention.continue reading
