The Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) Fund of Namibia is currently engaged in negotiations with the City of Windhoek (CoW) to finalise payment arrangements for the land earmarked to host Namibia’s inaugural trauma centre.

MVA’s Chief Executive Officer, Rosalia Martins-Hausiku, revealed this during a recent media briefing in Windhoek, emphasising the urgent need for a level one trauma centre in the country. She underscored that Namibia currently lacks such a critical facility.

“We are currently in negotiations with the City of Windhoek to agree on the terms of payment for the land,” Martins-Hausiku stated.
