President Nangolo Mbumba held discussions with the eight traditional authorities in the Oshana town council on Saturday.

The traditional authorities represented include Ombalantu, Ongandjera, Ombadja, Uukwaluudhi, Uukolonkadhi, Uukwambi, Ondonga, and Oukwanyama.

Mbumba emphasised that his visit aimed to update the traditional leaders about his transition to the presidency and reinforce his commitment to maintaining strong ties with them.

“I believe it’s crucial for me to maintain a close relationship with our traditional authorities. It’s important for them to be informed of my presence and to ensure that I lead in accordance with our constitution and traditions,” Mbumba stated.
