Former fisheries minister Bernhard Esau, taken to a Windhoek hospital on 30 Dec. 2019, is still admitted.
Police Inspector-General Sebastian Ndeitunga confirmed this to Eagle FM on Thursday.
The police have, however, not been willing to say where Esau is admitted and what he is suffering from.
Esau has complained of poor conditions in the holding cells at Seeis Police Station where he and five others were detained when they were arrested over a N$150m scandal in the fishing sector.
