Namibia Breweries Limited (NBL) has revealed that, despite efforts to conserve water, they are only permitted to utilise 20% of it from their private aquifers due to restrictions imposed by the City of Windhoek and NamWater.

Peter Simons, Managing Director of NBL, explained during the company’s Half-Year Financials Announcement in Windhoek last Thursday that the brewery’s ability to help mitigate water shortages in the country is hindered by the limited access to their boreholes.
