Zimbabwe has been urged to tackle its governance challenges as a crucial step towards revitalising its economy and fostering trade relations with Southern African Development Community (SADC) nations, including Namibia and others.

International Relations Analysts, Marius Kudumo, emphasised that despite the recent lifting of sanctions by the United States, Zimbabwe needs to prioritise economic reconstruction before concentrating on exports.

On Monday, the United States, under President Joe Biden’s administration, officially terminated a sanctions program targeting Zimbabwe.
