The Kunene region failed to improve on its national rankings as the least performing region in the Namibia Senior Secondary Certificate Ordinary and Advanced Subsidiary Levels, remaining at the bottom of the national rankings for the second consecutive year.

This is despite a slight improvement in the results nationally recorded this year.

As such, only 160 pupils or 1.5% of over 1000 pupils who sat for the national examinations in Kunene qualified for NSSCAS, marking the region’s continued struggle.
