UNPACKING THE DAY WITH JOHN (2 SEPTEMBER 2026)
“Four Numbers, One Question”
John JP Lenga’s debut on Unpacking the Day. The show opens with the N$1.60 diesel hike, the depleted National Energy Fund, and the N$7.2 billion no-tender contract awarded to Vitol. Then: the /Khomanin community’s 70-year land struggle, the 634 votes to remove their chief, and the N$508 million sitting locked in the Welwitschia Fund. Plus: illegal fencing in Kavango West and the marginalised communities report. One question: who is the system actually working for?
