Zambezi Red Meat Sector in Limbo: Dissecting what the Katima Mulilo abattoir closure means for local farmers.

Farmers in the Zambezi region have called for Meatco to be reinstated at the Katima Mulilo abattoir due to ZamCo’s reported poor management since they took over. Since ZamCo’s takeover, the abattoir has remained non operational. Zambezi region farmer and resident, Dobson Kwala, joined us to provide insight on the matter.
