Namibia’s annual State of the Region Addresses are coming under growing scrutiny as critics question whether the governors’ speeches translate into tangible development outcomes or merely restate long standing challenges.

Urban and Rural Development Minister James Sankwasa warned the Rundu Town Council that all land allocations must obtain his ministerial approval and follow prescribed legal procedures to ensure transparency, fairness and accountability.
