Building An Effective Health Sector
The Standing Committee of education, Youth, Civic Relations & Community Development recently engaged with health training institutions. The presentations were made by private institutions who focused more on what the methods of accreditation and approval are required of them. Clearly building an effective health sector requires multiple players to play their respective roles, among them are lawmakers, regulators and health care institutions. The questions then is does everyone involved know what role they are required to play and are they playing it in a way that they should?
