The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, Water and Land Reform, and joined the international community in commemorating World Ocean Day 2026 under the theme, “Reimagine: Beyond the World We Know, A New Relationship With Our Ocean.” For Namibia, the ocean is a strategic national asset. The country’s marine sector contributes significantly to economic growth through fisheries, maritime trade, tourism, and port activities.
