Johanna Frans’ Student Life

She came to Windhoek to further her studies, but life’s challenges forced her to spend nights sleeping in a bar, in Otjimuise’s 8de Laan Informal Settlement as the only place she could secure accommodation.

Despite the hardships, she refused to give up on her dreams and remained committed to her education.

Today, her perseverance has paid off as she proudly graduates with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science — a true testament to resilience, determination, and the power of never giving up.
