Tanzania’s October 2025 Election Uproar Resurfaces again
Opposition leaders in Tanzania have rejected the findings of a government-appointed inquiry into the deadly unrest that followed the country’s October 2025 general elections, arguing that the official death toll significantly underestimates the scale of the violence.
The report is expected to intensify political tensions, as opposition groups continue to demand greater transparency and accountability over one of the most contentious periods in Tanzania’s recent political history.
