Tobacco addiction poses serious health risks to both smokers and non-smokers, with studies showing it is responsible for over 7 million deaths globally each year.

For this reason, the Ministry of Health and Social Services (MoHSS) is in discussions with the Ministry of International Relations and Trade to draft a bill aimed at curbing the illicit trade in tobacco products.

And how do we regulate and control those which are smuggled into the country?
