THE CROSSOVER WITH ABIGAIL (29 MARCH 2026)
Namibia will see fuel prices increase from 1 April 2026, with petrol rising by N$2.50 per litre and diesel by N$4.00 per litre, mainly due to global oil price volatility linked to geopolitical tensions in the Middle East, including the Iran–Israel war.
The ongoing conflict has disrupted global oil supply routes and pushed up energy prices worldwide, affecting transport, food prices, and the cost of living in many countries, including Namibia, which relies heavily on imported fuel.
