1.Political Analysist Graham Hopwood says that he is suprised by the number of votes environment minister Pohamba Shifeta got while he does not have a remarkable reputation as a minister.

2.The agriculture ministry has called on farmers in the southern part of the country to remain on alert for Foot and mouth disease.
This follows after the directorate of Veterinary Services under the ministry lifted the movement standstill that was imposed on live cattle for the control Foot and Mouth Disease (FMD) outbreaks in that country.

3.The Municipality of Swakopmund welcomes its newest member to the Council Chambers. Hon. Dina Namubes of the IPC was sworn in earlier today.
She takes over from the former Mayor of Swakopmund Cllr Louisa Kativa of the (IPC).

4.Lwanyanda residents says they have been left with no place to call home and have to sleep under trees.
This follows the demolishing of houses in the settlement by the Katima Mulilo town council on Thursday.
