A. The Law Society of Namibia council is set to meet to discuss the way forward on gaining access to the records of the Sisa Namandje Inc law firm. EagleFM speaks to Katjipuka-Sibolile who highlights that the initial application for access was done in chambers. She said that it is the first time, to her knowledge, that an application in chambers was heard in open court.
B. NamWater Chief Executive Officer Abraham Nehemia said they are feeling the effects of the directive to not suspend any water accounts and to reconnect those that had been in debt.
C. Environment ministry has arrested six people in connection with wildlife crimes this past week. Of the the four cases the suspects were arrested for, two were old cases the police were already working and the other two were newly registered cases.
