A. The Namibian Competition Commission blocked the sale of Schwenk Namibia’s stake in Ohorongo Cement to West China Cement over fears the deal could lead to anti-competitive behaviour in the local market. EagleFM now speaks to economist Salomo Hei on this transaction.

B. Namibian police spokesperson Kauna Shikwambi said that officers who were seen assaulting men, believed to have been Zambian nationals, have been identified and are in the process of undergoing disciplinary action. EagleFM speaks to Environment ministry spokesperson to expand further on this

C. Swapo party member Mirjam Shitula told EagleFM that while she is aware of a decision for disciplinary action against her, she has not been informed of the charges against her or where exactly her disciplinary hearing is set to take place.
