- Although Namibia’s latest cybersecurity statistics showing a 47% drop in threat events
and 31% reduction in vulnerabilities are encouraging, organisations must remain
vigilant and continue investing in security awareness, as people simultaneously
represent both the greatest vulnerability and the strongest defense against cyber
threats.
2. According to the Bank of Namibia and various financial stakeholders, the nation’s
greylisting has had no material impact on the domestic economy, thanks to stable
macroeconomic conditions and robust institutional resilience.
