THE TWILIGHT WITH MATHIAS (11 NOVEMBER 2025)
Today, I want to speak from the heart. I want to talk about something that many of us don’t think about until it’s too late — something that quietly happens in every town, every village, and every office in our country.
Every year, dozens — perhaps hundreds — of highly skilled Namibians retire.
These are the engineers who built our roads and bridges, the nurses who cared for us in hospitals, the teachers who shaped our future leaders, the pilots who carried our flag in the skies, and the civil servants who kept our institutions running. They leave the workforce with wisdom, stories, and lessons learned over decades.
