Who Should Take Care of My Children? Me or the government?

There are so many many people who thought that bringing a child onto this world is a shared responsibility. It is for this reason that these individuals were fighting so hard to ensure that their children get registered for the Vulnerable Grant. And at times, if their children did not get, they will still demand that they get.
The Vulnerable Grant was a social grant designed to help children remain in school. So the act states that the money muct be used in the best interest of the child and that whoever is staying with a child must be the one who is registered to stay with a chil.

Throughout my research, I have realized that there are different situations: there are parents who are receiving money for the children, and they are not staying with the child. What they will do is, they will wait until it is pension day, then they will come around and get the money and go wherever they are staying.

Another situation is that many children are staying with their grant parents who are struggling to raise these children especially when it comes to clothes, and food. But the mothers of these children are elsewhere enjoying themselves.
As a result of these situations, these children grow up without a parental figure.
