We take a look in this session at the visit by a parliamentary standing committee on Poverty Eradication, Labour and Industrial Relations in the scope of understanding what poverty alleviation measures the Katima Mulilo based Ministry of Gender & Child Welfare officials in the town were conducting for the region and its communities. These ranged from small enterprise endeavours to food security projects meant to uplift rural areas of the region.
