According to an Africa Games Industry Report of 2025, the video gaming industry has seen some impressive growth in recent years.
In 2024 alone, mobile game revenues from the top five African markets (South Africa, Egypt, Nigeria, Algeria, and Tunisia) was over $200 million (about N$3.4 billion).
