1. Fifty percent of Langer Heinrich Mine Uranium Mine’s total production has already been offtake/customers for the life of the mine.
This has cast light on the importance of uranium as countries enhance their uranium enrichment for energy production/generation and other uses globally.

2. Uranium exploration is happening in Leonardville, in the Omaheke Region. Now there been many questions about how this mining will brings to Omaheke region

We spoke to the Chairperson of the Leonardville Youth Group, Anton Geinub as he  discuss how the prospect of uranium mining will benefit the community around  and the country at large.

3. Sulfur upwelling, a seasonal natural occurrence along Namibia’s coast, disrupts desalination operations by risking equipment damage and requiring additional and extensive water treatment. To safeguard the plant, Orano has suspended production until conditions improve.

4. 5. Heavy rainfall and wind in the Kavango West on Saturday destroyed Simwege Junior Primary School. The heavy wind blew away the grade one and two classrooms at Katjinakatjivillage.The rain also destroyed teaching materials.

Some traditional houses made out of thatch roofs were destroyed.

Kavango West education director Pontianus Musore stated that two tents were constructed at the school on Sunday, and all 58 learners resumed classes on Monday.
