Namibia ranks as the second most economically unequal country in the world, meaning that there is unequal distribution of resources, opportunities, and wealth within the country.

This disparity can appear as differences in income, wealth, access to education, healthcare, and other essential services .moreover the violation of human rights  is a significant issue in the nation.

Now to help us unpack this, my colleague David Shoombe engaged with a legal researcher Albertina Ngula to explore the connection between poverty and gender-based violence.
