We have looked at the Chairperson of the Demarcation and Delimitation Commission, Petrus Unenegu, explains the recommendations to President Nangolo Mbumba, which includes that only constituency adjustments should be done along with regional and constituency border changes.
In his address to President Nangolo Mbumba at State House, Unengu said that no new regions should be established.
2. Wage Order for establishing the first-ever National Minimum Wage (NMW) for Employees in Namibia under Government Notice No. 218 of 2024, the Minister of Labour, Industrial Relations and Employment Creation would like to inform the social partners and the public about the amendment to the Wage Order, to provide for the phasing-in of the Minimum Wage in the security sector over a three-year period. This amendment took effect on January 1, 2025.
