1. The tourism sector has proposed a National Spatial Development Master Plan, an ambitious initiative aimed at increasing direct employment in tourism from the current 57,000 jobs to 80,000 by 2030. As tourism is one of the country’s key economic pillars, this restructuring is expected to attract further investment, improve infrastructure, and diversify tourism offerings across various regions.
