A. The Air Namibia liquidation case has been postponed to 1 December 2020. The reason for this is for the case hearing regarding the merits of it. The presiding officer was Justice Esi Schimming-Chase.
B. The Namibian Police is considering laying charges against the Bank Windhoek suspended Head of sales Riaan van Rooyen who allegedly compared black Rhodes University students to monkeys. Ndeitunga also encouraged Bank Windhoek to “take a step further” and lay charges against van Rooyen. The Inspector General labeled the comments as disgusting and said van Rooyen’s mouth is reckless.
C. The Gender Minister Doreen Sioka said child marriages in Namibia are most prevalent in the Kavango East and West region.
