A. National Fishing Corporation of Namibia (FISHCOR) Board Chairperson Heinrich Mihe Gaomab said they have achieved most of their mandate despite criticism that the board is failing as they near the end of their term. Speaking to Eagle FM Gaomab said Fishcor are faced with financial struggles as the state owned enterprise could not pay their 800 employees and are busy with bringing their vessels up to standard.
B. Fishcor last week received its quota allocation from the government. Eagle FM now speaks to FISHCOR Board Chairperson Heinrich Mihe Gaomab.
C. The long distance bus drivers have informed the transport ministry that it wants to block the roads countrywide to stop illegal seven seaters from operating. With 9 days away from the regional council and local authority elections, we track the process of the preparations.
