1.The Namibian Employers Association and others have approached the High Court of Namibia on an urgent basis to challenge the constitutionality of certain regulations of the State of Emergency, with regards to the suspension of Operation of Provisions of Certain Laws and Ancillary Matters Regulation.Eagle FM speaks to Henry Bruwer of Namibian Employment Association.

2.MeToo Namibia has started an online petition calling for Namibia Qualifications Authority CEO Frans Gertze and City Police spokesperson Fabian Amukwelele to be suspended from their places of employment. Eagle FM speaks to Lawyer Nafimane Alweendo on the interpretation of the law in these cases in relation with the petition.

3.The Namibia Blood Transfusion Services (NamBTS) said the implementation of the stage 2 COVID-19 lockdown saved their blood supply, said Education Officer Titus Shivute this morning in an interview with Eagle fm.

4.Despite the COVID-19 pandemic and growing tensions in the country, Burundi will, on Wednesday, hold general elections.
