1. Fuel Price is expected to Increase by Wednesday the 5th of March 2025. The price of petrol and diesel will go up by 50 cents per litre, as announced by the Ministry of Mines and Energy has announced.

The Minister of Home Affairs, Immigration, Safety, and Security, Albert Kawana, has called for Namibia to actively promote tourism from China, emphasizing that Chinese tourists are among the highest spenders in the sector. Speaking at the launch of the visa-on-arrival initiative in Windhoek this morning, Kawana dismissed concerns that an increase in Chinese visitors would lead to a rise in poaching activities in the country.
