1. Omaruru constituency councillor Ernest Wetha has been accused of double dipping the council finances when taking trips.

2. The staff at Keetmanshoop municipality want its executive for human resources removed as according to them, Mukaya Elvis Simasiku was a late applicant, smuggled-in through the back-door, by known co-perpetrators within the municipality.

3.Still in Keetmanshoop,the municipality warns its residents against slaughtering animals at home.

4. TransNamib workers vote in favor of a strike as NATAU submit 48 hour strike notice.

5. The police in the Kavango East are searching for an unknown suspect that raped a 16-year-old female (name withheld) in the Uvhungu-Vhungu Village. The victim has been admitted to the Rundu State Hospital and is in critical condition. It’s believed that the victim was walking from a bar on Saturday, and upon her arrival on the road, she was attacked by the suspect with an unknown object on the forehead. He then dragged her into the Mahangu field and raped her.
According to the Crime Investigation Coordinator for the region, Bonifatius Kanyetu, the suspect is still unknown, but they have registered two cases against him for rape and attempted murder.
