A discussion with Dwight Links on NAMFISA is engaging fund administrators and interested members of the public on concerns raised since 2023 when the Financial Institutions and Markets Act (FIMA)was introduced.
Kenneth Matomola, CEO of NAMFISA, said that there was broad stakeholder report that was commissioned by the previous finance minister regarding what the public thought about the act’s perceived impact on various funds in the country and noted that certain aspects of the act will not be implemented.
